Do you offer GPS cue sheets? We completely understand how cool GPS units are, but as of now, we are sticking to paper cue sheets. We're working to overcome the various file formats, and battery life issues, and until then, we're sticking with the tried and true paper. Feel free to bring your GPS if you have one, and check out our GPS policy.
I can't take a whole week off. Is there an option to start or end ½ way through the trip? If you only want to ride the first part of the trip you can. But you must pay the full registration fee. If you can't take off a whole week just to play, Thursday we'll be able to make Amtrak connections back to home, so you could do a partial trip. But c'mon -is that what you really want? What're you gonna say back at the office "I went half-way across New York"?
Is the ride just for New York bikers? Certainly not! Last year we had bikers from 26 states and 3 countries. Why not be the very first biker to sign up from your state/country? Check our map to see if you qualify for a 10% discount.
When is the deadline to sign-up? We must have your Sign-up form by July 1, and your check must be postmarked by that date as well.
So what does FANY actually stand for? Well, we ARE biking Five hundred miles Across New York. But above all we strongly encourage you to Forget About Next Year and sign-up to join us on this year’s ride.
