2008 ride:

I was sitting here working diligently to get out of the massive paper hole I found myself in when I returned from the FANY ride; and, a smile crossed my face as I was thinking about what a terrific time I had on this year's ride. What an absolutely terrific time I had - rain and all!   You do an awesome job! Thanks  for another terrific FANY Ride!

2007 ride:
Ellen G., (from MA) - I loved the new route. The hills and the country we rode through were the best you ever found. One day, I went twenty miles without a car passing me which I would not have believed was possible anywhere in the state. Excellent hills, thrilling descents, graceful white-steepled villages, farms, corn fields and cows, lakes, wineries, and more, more, more. FANY 2007 had it all.

Joe’s 2003 pix   “I have told many of you about the bike ride that I did last week across upstate New York, from Niagara Falls to Albany. I rode with a group of about 60 people known as The FANY Ride. The purpose of the ride was to have fun and to raise some money …  We rode 535 miles in 7 days. There were people on this ride who were in their late 60s and perhaps even older. I met one woman who took up cycling after she became a grandma and has done this ride multiple times! These people are amazing!”
