The Great Big FANY Ride will proudly contribute at least 5% from each paid registration to Double H Ranch, a not-for-profit camp that exists to provide children living with chronic illness a chance to get away and just be a kid in an outdoor Adirondack Adventure. In 2008, contributions from The Great Big FANY Ride totaled over $6,200!That's enough to sponsor 3 (and a half) campers for a whole week! So a GREAT BIG THANKS to all who participated last year!
Our ideal goal for this year is to fully sponsor four campers for a week each or $7,200. Please help us out if you can. If your employer offers a matching donation program, please consider Double H in your end-of-the-year giving, and be sure to list FANY Ride on your check memo line, or in the "In honor of " space on their on-line donation form. Slightly more than half of the Double H Ranch campers come from within New York State, and the rest come from states that are well represented by past FANY Riders. Geographically speaking it's a great match, and we both celebrate life outdoors. Oh heck, The FANY Ride is just plain honored to contribute to this outstanding organization.
